"Follow the money" is an adage used in many areas of crimenology. Following where and how it has been spent has lead to many an arrest.
So, how does that relate to spirituality? Seems to me that where and how a person spends their time and money are some indication of what they feel is important. And this is a self-indictment if there ever was one. I have to wonder what our church would look like if I and a few others had spent as muchtime and effort in spiritual training as I spent on athletics as a teenager.
